At 9:00 a.m. on April 17, 2025, the highly anticipated 2025 2nd CBCTE Wuxi International Combustion and Thermal Energy Industry Expo The event was grandly inaugurated at the Wuxi R&F Sheraton Hotel. This year's expo, themed "Innovating Efficient Low-Nitrogen Combustion to Achieve Dual Carbon Goals," drew industry-leading enterprises from numerous countries and regions around the world, coming together to explore the latest technologies and emerging trends in the field of combustion thermal energy.

 

The opening ceremony was unprecedented, marking another upgrade in the industry ecosystem.

At 9:28 a.m., the conference held its grand opening ceremony, along with China Burner The signing ceremony for the partnership of the Burning Heat Energy Town took place. Qin Wei, a fourth-level researcher and member of the Party Leadership Group of the Wuxi Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade in Jiangsu Province; Wang Jiaoling, Secretary-General of the China Boiler & Water Treatment Association; Lü Dongxian, Secretary of the China Heat Treatment Industry Association; and Lin Qizhao, Chairman of the National Technical Committee on Standardization for Combustion, Energy Saving, and Purification—along with other distinguished leaders—attended the event and delivered speeches. Representatives from exhibitors across the country jointly witnessed this significant moment.

 

In the subsequent agenda, several industry leaders delivered keynote speeches.
China National Electric Engineering Co., Ltd. Second Construction Company signed the Heat Energy Town Entry Agreement on-site, injecting new momentum into industrial development.
The CB Combustion Thermal Energy Service Alliance awarded certificates to authorized service centers for 2025, further enhancing the nationwide service network.
Henan Polytechnic University and Burner Network officially launch the 2025 Spring Thermal Engineering Campus Recruitment Program.

Sharing cutting-edge technologies, discussing the future of the industry together

At 11 a.m., Professor Yi-Bing Cheng, Fellow of the Australian Academy of Engineering, delivered a keynote speech titled "Industrial Application of Ammonia-Hydrogen Zero-Carbon Combustion Technology in High-Temperature Industries." Professor Cheng noted: "Ammonia-hydrogen blended fuel technology is expected to achieve large-scale application within the next five years, fundamentally transforming the energy landscape of high-temperature industries."
The afternoon tech forum was equally exciting and packed with highlights:
Professor Zhuo Jiankun from Tsinghua University shared the latest research findings on hydrogen-doped ammonia gas clean combustion technology.
Professor Wen Xiaoping's team from Henan Polytechnic University showcased an industrial application case of biomass gasification-based clean heating technology.
Professor Li Fan from Anhui University of Technology introduced a significant breakthrough in high-temperature catalytic coating materials for emission reduction applications.
Vieit Wind turbine Technical experts from Baode China delivered in-depth presentations on the innovative applications of high-efficiency, energy-saving equipment and burners.


Deepening International Exchange and Cooperation

At 1:30 PM, Carl Dorns GmbH of Germany simultaneously held a special technical exchange meeting, where experts from Europe engaged in in-depth discussions with their Chinese counterparts on topics such as the standardization and intelligent development of combustion technologies. Later that evening, at 6:00 PM, Carl Dorns GmbH partnered with Combustion Thermal Energy Division Jointly hosted a members' reception dinner, creating a closer exchange platform for Chinese and foreign enterprises.
